Applying expertise in radiation physics, spectral identification, and advanced sensor technology, D-tect Systems is focused exclusively on combating the urgent threat from radiological and other hazardous substances. We strive to produce innovative, accurate radiation detection devices of the highest quality at reasonable prices.

Our products are used internationally by embassies, military agencies, homeland security personnel, NATO Countries' public safety officers, and law enforcement. In the United States, our customers include the Department of State, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security. D-tect Systems was founded in 2001 and was a division of VPI Technology, located in Draper, Utah. As of January 2023, both D-tect Systems and VPI Technology are divisions of Ludlum Measurements, Inc. SciWise Solutions and D-tect Systems Awarded Department of National Defence Contract to Protect Military from Radioactivity

Great news for engineering partner, D-tect Systems, as Canadian technology company SciWise Solutions secures the largest radiation detection contract awarded by the Canadian Department of National Defence in over 25 years!

 

D-tect Systems will provide modern, innovative, cutting-edge technology to back up SciWise in developing a streamlined solution to replace Canada's aging and outdated radiation detection systems. The new system will consist of a base unit with smart, hot-swappable probes, replacing the current multiple detection devices.
